A journalist's eye. A storyteller's instinct.
I'm an Emmy-nominated former broadcast journalist bringing nearly a decade of storytelling experience to hospitality. I create photography, short-form video and editorial features that capture more than how a property looks. I tell the story of what it feels like to be there.
The Muse, in motion
Two short videos, two ways into the same property. One is about the hotel itself. The other is about the day around it.
The Muse, day to night
24 Hours in Palm Springs
Beyond the beautiful picture.
Beautiful imagery gets attention. A compelling story gives people a reason to care.
After nearly a decade in broadcast journalism, I've learned how to find the details that make a place memorable, build a narrative that holds someone's attention and bring an experience to life through words and visuals.
I approach every property with that same editorial instinct, creating cohesive photography, video and written features that go beyond promotion to tell a story worth experiencing.
A newsroom's eye
The best stories aren't always the ones you planned.
Journalism taught me to arrive prepared, but remain curious. Some of the most memorable stories I've reported began with an unexpected conversation, an overlooked detail or a moment that changed the entire direction of the piece.
That instinct followed me to The Muse Hotel in Palm Springs.
I arrived expecting colorful interiors, retro charm and a quintessential desert escape. What I discovered was a much bigger story. An unexpected visit to the Palm Springs Air Museum, a vintage Gucci swimsuit found while antiquing and the character of the city itself became just as memorable as the property.
The result wasn't simply a hotel feature. It was a story about experiencing Palm Springs, with The Muse as its home base.
That's the value of an editorial eye: knowing when to follow the unexpected and recognizing the details that make an experience worth sharing.
Structure, not snapshots
Every piece serves a bigger story.
A beautiful Reel, a compelling photograph and a well-written feature should feel like chapters of the same experience.
I build content around a central narrative, connecting the visuals, writing and messaging so each piece stands on its own while contributing to a cohesive story across platforms.
The result is a collection of content with purpose, not just a gallery of deliverables.
Reported, not just posted
The details matter. So does getting them right.
My work is grounded in firsthand experience, thoughtful observation and the reporting standards I developed in the newsroom.
I pay attention to the people behind a property, the details that define it and the experiences that give it character. Names, places and facts are verified. The writing has substance. The perspective is authentic.
The result is content with the depth and credibility of editorial storytelling, created for the way people discover and experience travel today.
One experience. A complete editorial story.
From the first photograph to the final paragraph, every deliverable is designed to work together, giving hotels a versatile collection of original content for their websites, social channels, newsletters and marketing campaigns.
Not just content for the moment. A story the property can continue telling.
A catalogue of The Muse
An edited photo set organized the way a hotel will use it: the property, the suite, the pool and courtyard, and the property after dark.

What I did
The Muse is a nine suite boutique hotel in Palm Springs' Warm Sands neighborhood, where every suite has its own name and its own muse. In exchange for a two night stay, the hotel asked for edited photography, two Reels, a written feature and social captions it could use across its channels.
Skip the room tour. Tell the story of 24 hours in Palm Springs, with The Muse as the place you keep coming back to, so the content sells the hotel and the city together.

“If you only have 24 hours in Palm Springs, do not try to do everything. Stay somewhere with personality.”

A reported, first person travel feature of about 950 words that follows a day around the hotel: vintage hunting, an air museum and a Michelin Guide dinner.

What a property gets
Available for hosted stays and paid projects. Every piece is built by a trained storyteller, so a property gets a story told across channels, not a shoutout. Take the full package or pick the pieces you need.
